Ap\u00f3s longas horas de funcionamento ininterrupto, o desgaste natural afeta as pe\u00e7as de acionamento internas da m\u00e1quina. Se n\u00e3o se proceder a um planeamento personalizado do processo, estes materiais sofrer\u00e3o, quase sempre, altera\u00e7\u00f5es dimensionais ap\u00f3s a maquinagem:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>O corte liberta a tens\u00e3o interna residual retida no material met\u00e1lico em bruto. Esta tens\u00e3o provoca empenamentos e deforma\u00e7\u00f5es que fazem com que as dimens\u00f5es fiquem fora das toler\u00e2ncias<\/li>\n<li>As estruturas de baixa rigidez, tais como paredes finas, eixos delgados e cavidades profundas, deformam-se elasticamente sob a a\u00e7\u00e3o da for\u00e7a de corte, dando origem a erros de deflex\u00e3o da ferramenta<\/li>\n<li>O calor de corte acumula-se durante a maquinagem e faz com que as pe\u00e7as se expandam. Como decidir se uma pe\u00e7a precisa de retrabalho<\/h2>\n<p>Nem todos os desvios dimensionais requerem uma corre\u00e7\u00e3o completa. O retrabalho desnecess\u00e1rio apenas acarreta custos adicionais sem trazer qualquer benef\u00edcio real. Em cada caso, deve-se avaliar o problema com base nas regras de toler\u00e2ncia e na fun\u00e7\u00e3o da pe\u00e7a, de modo a escolher a solu\u00e7\u00e3o mais econ\u00f3mica.<\/p>\n<h3>4.1 Avalia\u00e7\u00e3o com base nos limites da banda de toler\u00e2ncia<\/h3>\n<p>Mais concretamente, deve utilizar os intervalos de toler\u00e2ncia indicados nos desenhos t\u00e9cnicos como refer\u00eancia principal para a tomada de decis\u00f5es:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dimens\u00f5es dentro da banda de toler\u00e2ncia: aceitar a pe\u00e7a como conforme, sem necessidade de corre\u00e7\u00f5es adicionais<\/li>\n<li>Ligeira exced\u00eancia da toler\u00e2ncia, sem impacto nas fun\u00e7\u00f5es essenciais: avalie o custo e a viabilidade da repara\u00e7\u00e3o e d\u00ea prioridade \u00e0s op\u00e7\u00f5es de repara\u00e7\u00e3o de baixo custo<\/li>\n<li>Toler\u00e2ncia excessiva grave, sem margem de ajuste nem risco para a seguran\u00e7a estrutural: descarte a pe\u00e7a para evitar falhas posteriores na montagem ou no desempenho<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>4.2 Priorizar por fun\u00e7\u00e3o da pe\u00e7a e criticidade<\/h3>\n<p>Deve tamb\u00e9m adaptar a sua abordagem consoante a import\u00e2ncia de cada dimens\u00e3o para o produto final:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As superf\u00edcies de encaixe cr\u00edticas, os pares de movimento e as dimens\u00f5es relacionadas com a seguran\u00e7a devem cumprir rigorosamente as regras de toler\u00e2ncia.
